Boxing Day – Friday, 26 December 2025 – ABANDONED
The Tumut Turf Club along with Racing NSW have had to make the difficult decision to abandon the Boxing Day race meet. This decision was a difficult one but due to the unavailability of an Ambulance Crew for the day it was unavoidable.
Racing NSW has systems in place for when NSW Ambulance is unavailable, with 3rd party providers filling in however at this time of the year they did not have crews available which left no choice but to abandon the meeting.
The Tumut Turf Club committee are disappointed but the safety of racing participants is at the heart of this decision and we feel is the right decision at this time.
